Journals

I once thought of binding as the final act - the point at which pages were gathered, secured, and the journal became complete. I am beginning to see these books differently.

I think of these journals as works in progress. A cover may begin by suggesting a story, but I don't want it to remain fixed there. Another stitch, a gathered fragment, or something returned to months later can change the conversation. I enjoy that open dialogue between what was made, what has been gathered, and what it comes to mean over time.
